July 9 - July 18 Land Only Price: $1,999; Single Supplement $499 Celebrate all the best of Slovakia, plus a glimpse of Poland and Austria July 9 - Meet at Vienna airport 10 am, travel to gorgeous Cerveny Kamen Castle, a museum filled with legends & furniture from the ages; on to historic Zvolen in central Slovakia. July 10 - Mini-tour of Banska Bystrica's picturesque square, shop for folk art & souvenirs, climb a leaning tower, optional visit to Slovak History Museum; immerse in Detva Folk Festival, crafts people & folk dancing, photo opps! Dine in a mini-castle! July 11 - International Crafts Festival in historic Kezmarok, streets filled with famous ceramic, glass, textile, leather and metal artists. July 12 - High Tatra Mountains; visit an alpine resort; meet a sheep skin coat maker and his 4 generation family in a quaint village; ride a raft in Pieniny Gorge, cross into Poland to sightsee & enjoy Goral dinner & music in charming Zakopane. July 13 - Visit Zdiar's Mountain Culture Museum. Delight in Stara Lubovna's outdoor skansen to learn about Spis & Rusyn village life and traditions; feast with Mickey the Mad Rusyn and see private museum of Rusyn culture.
